Brushing your hair is actually terrible for it. Tell you what: lean over your sink, and brush your hair right over it. Cutting your hair continuously will NOT make it longer. Au contraire! The more you cut your hair, the shorter it will be. So lay down those scissors and visit your hair salon ONLY once every two months so they can trim the very tips of your hair, a process that gets rid of the split ends and allows your hair to grow healthier and longer. Hair grows an average of 1/2 inch per month, so on your visits to your hair dresser, have her cut less than 1/2 inch, leaving more than one full month’s intact.
